Question #1:
I recently got my 2nd DWI. I am looking for some of the cheaper high risk auto insurace companies that I can get in Missouri. Thanks for your help
Question #2:
I am 30, I rent, I am single, my car is ~12 years old, my savings/retirement accounts = ~130k, and my salary is between 60-85k. I do have renter's insurance ($12.5k) and my auto policy's bodily injury limits are 100k/300k.
I am really trying to decide whether my financial situation dictates an umbrella policy. Should I keep my auto limits at 100k/300k and get an umbrella policy, or should I increase the auto limits to 250k/500k and not get an umbrella policy, or should I increase my auto limits and get an umbrella policy?
What is your recommendation? Since I don't have a lot of assets and since I need to protect my retirement accounts, I feel that I should increase my liability insurance in some way. Just seeking advice.
Yes, my liability limits on my renter's insurance is 100k. I guess that needs to increase as well.
Question #3:
I switched from bank A to bank B, when I did I set up all my automatic with-drawls to come out of my new account Bank B. I have my auto insurance with my new bank, well the auto insurance people fudged up and withdrew from my old account (bank A) causing the account to overdraw. Well the insurance people called me and said that they didn't receive payment for almost 2 months. So I paid up on the insurance from my new account (bank B) on threat of cancellation. Then I called Bank A to try to sort some stuff out, long story short, they are charging me almost $300 on transitions they NEVER paid to my insurance. Is this legal?
I've never been late on bills, I don't use credit cards, my grandparents taught me that if i didn't have the cash for it I don't need it. The only reason we left the account open is because my husband just got back from Iraq and he was getting travel pay in a separate check, and didn't know if the paperwork made it in time for the check to go into our new account, so just to be safe we left it open.

Question #4:
We have been together for a year and half. He is extremely frugal and doesn't make a whole lot of money. I however do. I like nice stuff (I am thrifty) and just got into a nice 4 bedroom house. I drive an suv that gets 175 miles per tank (yes you read that right). I am car shopping. My suv is old, rattles, its a Nissan with low miles but I am not the type of woman who needs to have a breakdown. I don't have time for that. Or the funds. I am looking at buying a new car, same auto expenses as what I paying now, but for three more years. $450 a month, less gas, less insurance. Apples to apples, I pay 650.00 a month auto expense driving the hunkajunk, it would be $650.00 for a 2012 car financed for 3 more years. It's a Hyundai and the warranty would be for 5 of those years. My boyfriend basically has said if I buy it, he won't marry me.
But if anything happens to my current vehicle, he certainly won't pay for it. All my bills are on meeeee. He said he won't marry me without money in the bank for a nest egg. I am not about to get a new owner (married before to a man who liked to say no all the time) because men do not always have our best interest and don't mind if we as women don't have anything. I'm just saying. What should I do here?
Question #5:
Question #6:
Specifically, should everyone's auto insurance limits and rates be high to be able to pay the actual costs to repair rich people's luxury and/or muscle cars? Would it be more fair to compel at-fault drivers to pay what similar damage to their own vehicle would have cost to repair?

@glamour kitty: Some heavy cars are driven by poor people. Your objection raises a separate issue, warranting a separate question.

Question #11:
I think my ex has started putting my name and phone number into auto insurance quote websites and various other websites requiring a name and number to request further information on a product or service. I receive about 25 calls a day from these people. How do I prevent him from harassing me and can I take any legal action against him? I am always on the Internet, but I never went to any of the sites referenced in the phone calls. He is one of the few people that has my number.

Question #13:
Does anybody know what auto collision repair shops in the Oceanside, CA, area are approved by USAA insurance? I need to get some estimates for my car and wanted to go to a few different places, but USAA only gave me one place and I want to shop around some before choosing one. I can't look online because I'm not a USAA member (the person that hit me is the one who has USAA and they're claiming liability).
Question #14:
Can anyone tell my what my rights are as far as choosing where I want my car repaired when it is being paid for by someone else's insurance company? I live in WI. Links/documentation would be great if you have anything handy.
The damage is fairly straightforward; just a minor fender bender. I had an estimate done at a shop recommended by my brother-in-law, who is also in the car business (he builds and restores engines). Now the insurance company wants to discuss my "options" about getting it fixed. I just want to be prepared if they try and tell me I have to go to a certain place.
Question #15:
Benito Mussolini once said "Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power."
0bama's national health care mandate, (forcing all Americans to buy health insurance insurance from corporations) and his bailout of the auto industry, and many other examples exist.
So how is he not a fascist, or even a corporatist?

And there are different companies not just one that have this
Question #19:
Hi, I was just involved in a car accident, and yes I do believe it was my fault. My car is insured under my father's name ( the vehicle is also registered under my father). The idea was to pay a low cost for auto insurance since I am a 19 year old female, but I own the car; I bought the car. So I am not on the policy. The policy only covers the other person if the fault was mine, i.g., property liability.
Would the insurance, in anyway, still cover the expense of the other driver who was not at fault?
Question #20:
